You can experience "coloring" by changing the surface of high metal.
Coasters and trays made with the traditional coloring technique using rice bran and other ingredients are covered with your own unique colors that can be found nowhere else.
The coloring work flow
This is an example of the coloring process. A variety of colors can be created by combining chemicals and techniques.
01Polishing
First, polish the copper plate to be colored with sandpaper.
02Nuka-Yaki
Place bran on the surface of the copper plate and burn the surface with a burner.
This bran is burned and becomes a pattern.
03Washing
Use a brush to wash off the burnt bran.
04Polishing
Polish the surface of the copper plate again after the pattern has been formed.
05Coloring
Change each color with chemicals.
06Finishing
Once you have achieved the color you want, apply a coating to finish.
